Everything was just right.

Large fluffy towels add a nice touch to the Standard Double Room. The brewing facilities make for a cozy corner to kick back with a cuppa. The ambiance feels like a local pub with character, making it easy to unwind after a day of galactic adventures.

The bathroom lighting is a bit of a frustration. it doesn’t come on until you're nearly done your business. The toilet lid needs a better adjustment to avoid potential complications during use. the door to the clothes cupboard is extremely stiff, which might test your patience after a long day. Lastly, the breakfast is okay, but using cheap sliced bread left me craving something with more substance.

It was just a smart choice for a fleeting pause in Moreton-in-Marsh with fantastic value for money. The evening meals were thoroughly enjoyable and exceeded my expectations. For an early start, make sure you confirm breakfast hours in advance.

i loved my stay at the swan inn! the breakfast was a highlight, with great poached eggs and delicious ham from the local butcher. the staff, including chadwick and dawn, made me feel totally welcome and at ease. the location is perfect too, as it's just a short walk to some lovely cafes and pubs.

Cozy pub vibe, but needs work

We had a 2-night stay in a family suite, and it was comfy. The staff were friendly, but the carvery was kinda sad—boiled parsnips, really? And a loud local guy stole our peace. The loo was an experience too, like a trip back to the '80s. If they fixed up the dining, it’d be great.

The historic atmosphere and central location provided an excellent base for exploring. The four-poster bed was comfortable, and the meals, particularly the full English breakfast, were generous and satisfying. Staff were welcoming and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. For a cozy and charming stay, this beautifully decorated inn exceeds expectations.

Had a great time with friends at this cozy inn. Explored nearby Chipping Norton Golf Club and enjoyed hours of fun at the skittle alley. The breakfast was top-notch, and the staff were super cool. Just a heads up, the rooms were warm and comfy, perfect for chilly evenings!

We had an issue with the shower. it was scalding hot and hard to adjust. They did try to help us out, but it was a bit frustrating.

The quaint decor and secure rooms made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Definitely recommend the mulled pear cider!

The single room is quite small, with the bed pushed against the wall, making it a bit cramped. the mattress could use a flip, as the edges felt worn. I also noticed the bathroom could use some updating, as the decor felt dated and the hairdryer left much to be desired.

This place suits me perfectly with excellent wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and helpful staff. They once arranged a wake-up call for me, which I appreciated. I can't wait to return for Easter!
